Hey! I’m Monique, but you can call me MJ. Born and raised in the Bronx, a true NYC girl with big energy, big dreams, and a love for all things creative. Even though I’m living in Virginia now, the Bronx is still in me. The flavor, the hustle, the culture, the style. It shows up in everything I design.

Paperie by MJ started in 2019 as a passion project and quickly grew into something more. Seeing my products land on wholesale shelves was a full-circle moment. It reminded me that what I create has a place out in the world.

Then life happened, and for a while, the shop went quiet.

But the love for creating never left.

Now I’m back. Same heart. Same creativity. Just a fresh perspective and a new energy behind the brand.
